8:35am

Finally got all my bills done.
Free bills to whoever wants any!
Pick a bill, any bill!
This isn't even all of them.
I still have four more for this month
but have run out of stamps and can't
send them out til I get more.
And I still have one more recent doctor
bill to pay but it will have to wait til next month
since it's a large amount like $372.

I will have forked out $439 in doctor
bills this month, $1021 last month.
and of course next month's so far will
be $412.  So a total of $1872 in
about 3 months time.
So freaking depressing even with
having insurance!!

And I'm sure we're not done considering
Tony is still going to the family
doctor getting tests done, getting
follow ups for his pneumonia
and the doctor wants him to get
a cat scan due to seeing a spot on his lung.

This is why you have to have somewhat
of a cushion in the bank account.
You never know what just might happen
that you need extra money for.

We're still working on trying to sell
our one car and a car trailer.
Someone is supposed to come out
Wednesday to look at the car.
I never get any hopes up til I see cash in hand.
It sure would help out at the moment
with all these bills.
I couldn't imagine what people go through
when they have major operations.
Don't know how they would pay for
something like that even with insurance.

Well I'm gonna go mope around the house
for today after paying bills.
Got laundry to do and bedrooms to clean.

Went out and skimmed the pool of any debris.

I also checked the filter since it didn't seem

to be flowing very well.
It was a little dirty so I took a water
hose on medium water strength then used
a sprayer on jet and cleaned off the filter
and put it back in.  Works really good now.

Intex suggests replacing the filter
every 2 weeks.  At $5 a pop we need
to make these last as long as possible.
One filter came with the pool and
we bought a 2 pack for $10.
So these 3 will have to last the entire Summer.

I would suggest removing the filter
daily or every other day and spraying
it off with a hose to prolong its life.

Here's the 2 extra filters we have.
They collect a lot of stuff from trees in them.
These were left to dry this way.
So if you stay on top the one in the pump
and clean it regularly like I did the one
today it should clean up really well.
Mine in the pump came out white, like
brand new.  These once cleaned still
looked dingy but still are able to use.
After cleaning with a hose.

And instead of using a whole package
of shock for the pool each week we've
been using about 1/3rd since it's a smaller pool.
Unless the water seems cloudy then we add
a little more til it clears up.
Shock treatment runs about $2.50 to $2.99
a little bag.
