6:45pm

Got the cable installed today
by Insight.  I hope it all goes well
for us and is better and cheaper than Wow!

---------------------------

55 feet below ground.
One level goes to 104 feet below ground.
Stays a steady 54 degrees all year round.

Kids can mine for minerals
and precious gems starting at
$4.50 to $10.50  for a bag of dirt with gems.
We had to pass on buying those
but was able to sift through what
others had left behind at the water mine.
There was crystals, emeralds, rubies,
sapphires and amethyst along with others.

Looking down the stairs
entering the caves.

One moment there was a trickle
of water through one cave.
It was a dead end cave you had to turn
around and walk out of.
A couple moments later it sounded
like a gush of water coming
from a darkened hole that
we could not see into.
Scared me & Jonathan who had
leaped passed me to get out of
that tunnel, lol.

4:15pm

After the caverns we went
to Golden Corral to eat.
It was a nice buffet.
We had coconut shrimp, popcorn shrimp,
pot roast with veggies, grilled steak
with onions & mushrooms and
bbq baby back ribs.  Yum, Yum!
Along with other side dishes and desserts.
It was something special for
our vacation to eat out other
than at fast food.

Got home about 5:50pm.
Kids went out to play for a few
and we pretty much chilled.
Stuffed and wore out!  Lol.
In the mail today I got a free
large potholder from Pyrex.
It's 8" by 8", large enough
to put a casserole dish on.

Agenda for tomorrow-
Go see a movie at the $1.00 theater
on Bethel Rd.
Then head over to Walmart and
pick up a few Easter items
and a birthday gift for a friend.
After that who knows.
If it's not raining tomorrow morning
maybe we could hit a few yard sales.
I think it's supposed to rain though.
We've been cleaning & picking up
house all week and I got laundry all done.
So maybe we'll relax some.
I still need to paint the last wall
in the living room so might do that.
Homemade chili for supper
with cornbread.

Saturday-

 Weather permitting we might

head on down to the flea market
on the South end.
Then there's an
Easter egg hunt on Henderson Rd
at Winterset Elementary, the kids
old school.  Starts at 11am but
always runs late.  We've been going to
this one for the past 5-6 years.

At 3:00pm the kids were invited
to a birthday party at their friends house
just up the street.
Mom and dad will get a few hours
of alone time during this vacation.
Supper- chicken wrapped in bacon
topped with melted swiss cheese.

Sunday-
Easter egg hunt in our backyard
for the boys,
weather permitting.
If it's raining then it will be indoors.
 Thinking about putting the last
ham I have in the freezer in the crock.

Here are a couple entertaining
web sites for you to check out.
If ever you think you are having
a bad day imagine how
these people felt.
