5:50pm

Supper-
Pollock fish fillets marinated in
stir fry sauce then breaded with bread crumbs
and parmesan cheese.
Served with a side of baby carrots
and teriyaki rice.

We spent the day at a couple parks.

Acadamy Park in Gahanna

At the entrance sign I spotted this-
Someone obviously doesn't know
how to plant flowers, lol.
You remove them from the flats
not plant the flats in the ground with
the flowers in them, lol!

Today got a little warmer than I
had expected.  Stopped in UDF
and got the kids each an
ice cream cone.

Our next stop was Creekside Park
in Gahanna.
We got to see our first swan.

7:00pm

I am happy to announce that
the first day of reducing and quitting
smoking went well, better than
expected.
From the time I woke up til now
at 7:00pm
I have only smoked 4 cigarettes
and used 5 pieces of nicotine gum.
That to me is excellent considering
I can smoke 1-2 packs of cigs a day!!
The directions on the nicotine gum
says that you should use 9 pieces
of gum in one day.

Whelp it's time to wind down
and I am extremely tired from
all the walking we did today.

This evening we had to go to Kroger
to get some picnic items to carry in
the truck while running around this
week to save on the expense of
stopping in convenience stores
to buy foods.

While in Kroger we found
Super Blue Stuff OTC
pain relief cream
in the mark down bin for
$2.49.
I priced this stuff online
and it goes for $15 a roll-on bottle!
It's supposed to be used for
arthritis, joint pain, backaches,
myalgia, muscle pain & sprains.

Tony goes in for a cat scan on

Friday then goes back to the
family doctor on Monday.
So we'll see what they say about
the severe back pain he's been having.

I also found boxes of pectin marked
down to .79 cents and got
4 more boxes for our
pectin grape juice.
