8:30-2:00pm

Me and Tony had a good time today
by ourselves.

Our first stop in was in the new Menards
on Morse Rd.
which just recently opened.  It's a very
nice store.  We ran into one of neighbors
in there checking out the place also.
We got a couple pleated furnace
filters for $1.99 each, some Scott's grass seed
for $4-$5, and I purchased my first
veggie plants- 6 banana peppers
and 6 sweet 100 tomatoes.
They are like a cherry tomato.
I had the sweet 100's the year before
last and they produced like crazy.
But last year I could not find
any of these tomato plants so
went with grape tomatoes.
Each 6 pack of veggie plants
were $1.69.

Check out this camp chair
they had in Menards, lol!
Good news for you on the East side
of Columbus.  The one lady employee
at Menards said they just broke ground
for a new Menards on Brice Rd
out near Reynoldsburg.

After Menards we went to Kroger
at Graceland.  There I found the
6 packs of Canada Dry pop.
Buy two 6 packs of bottled
pop get 2 free and when
you use the coupon (still found on the bottles)
you get a free 6 pack of
canada dry.
So five 6 packs for $7.98
which was for 30 bottles.
At this price each bottle
would be .26 cents each.
These are staying in the truck
and will go in the cooler
during vacation week with some ice.

I also got 3 boxes of pectin
for $1.19 each along with some
grape juice made with Splenda.
I didn't get our picnic supplies
yet.  We'll get those Friday.

After Kroger we decided to eat
lunch at Hong Kong Buffet on
Henderson Rd.  We were stuffed
after that but still managed to
go over to Hayden Falls
and walk around.

Took the car through a spray it
yourself car wash then came home
and waxed it and cleaned the interior
and tires.

4:00pm
Had a neighbor about 8 or so
houses down the street from us
tell us that about a week
or so ago the back windshield
of his truck was smashed and
someone stole items from it.
With warmer weather comes
the car break ins.  I'm trying
to figure out how to get most
of our vehicles parked behind our fence.
Got 2 behind the fence now
and can probably squeeze 2 more in
to prevent the thieves from getting in them.

4:30pm

I am wearing down really fast.
I decided to go ahead and make
supper ahead of time.  That way
if I decided to lay down all
Tony had to do was pop it in the oven.

Sub Bun Pizzas

2 sub buns, each cut in half- free
ranch dressing- free
1/4 of a large pkg pepperoni- .25 cents
8 sliced mushrooms- .25 cents
2 cups shredded cheese- $1.77

.28 cents per pizza.
